Italian side Lazio are reportedly eyeing a late move for Manchester City academy graduate Oscar Bobb on Deadline Day.

The Norway youth international is widely regarded as being Manchester City’s next big name to emerge from the club’s youth system, and impressed onlookers during his cameo appearances throughout the most recent pre-season tour of Asia.

However, with game time constantly called into question in Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad, many of the club’s finest young talents are at the centre of attention for suitors across Europe, and Oscar Bobb is no exception to that rule.

While there may only be less than five hours remaining in the summer transfer window in England, that has not stopped the speculation surrounding Bobb’s immediate senior club level future being reported.

According to the information of Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City’s 20-year-old winger is now being eyed by Serie A side Lazio.

The link to Manchester City’s exciting young prodigy comes hours after the Italian club were linked with a move for Manchester United’s free agent option Mason Greenwood – a path that is claimed to have become ‘complicated’.

However, it is widely understood that Manchester City are highly unlikely to sanction a loan move for Oscar Bobb at this late stage in the market, especially after activity elsewhere at the football club on Friday.

Cole Palmer joined Chelsea on a permanent transfer earlier in the day in a deal worth a total of £42.5 million, while James McAtee completed a return to Sheffield United in a loan agreement that is likely to see him star in the Premier League numerous times this season.
