Training Gallery: Man City put together final preparations ahead of showdown Premier League finale vs West Ham

| Last Updated:

Manchester City have put together their final preparations for Sunday’s defining Premier League clash against West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side require a victory over the Hammers to be crowned Premier League champions for a record-breaking fourth consecutive season, after Tuesday’s 0-2 win over Tottenham left Manchester City on the cusp of a sixth title in seven years.

The Sky Blues recorded their first Premier League away win over Spurs since October 2018 in midweek, as two second-half goals from Erling Haaland and a catalogue of heroic Stefan Ortega saves helped Manchester City to a crucial three points.

West Ham visit the Etihad Stadium on the final day of the campaign, with the Hammers having previously faced Manchester City in a title-deciding clash in May 2014, when Samir Nasri and Vincent Kompany both scored during a 2-0 win to secure the title under the management of Manuel Pellegrini.

Manchester City are bidding to win their eighth title this weekend, with the fixture also David Moyes’ last game as manager of West Ham, after announcing plans to depart the east London club at the end of the season.

The Cityzens are unbeaten since early December and haven’t lost to West Ham since 2015, a streak currently stretching to 18 games ahead of this weekend’s meeting.
