Manchester City will travel to Rob Edwards’ Luton Town in the Emirates FA Cup fifth round following the completed draw on Sunday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola and his current crop of FA Cup holders dismissed of Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round on Friday night, in a contest that saw Manchester City saw their first goal at the North London side’s new stadium.

City had to wait until the closing stages of the exchange to score their decisive winner, with their FA Cup fourth round hero of the 2022/23 season Nathan Ake popping up at a corner to smash home and progress the Premier League champions into round five.

On overall viewing, it was an outcome that many onlookers will feel Manchester City deserved having dominated large portions of the contest, continuing a fine run of form following their FIFA Club World Cup triumph in Saudi Arabia last month.

The reward for Manchester City’s exploits at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have now also been revealed, with the Treble winners of last season facing Luton Town at Kenilworth Road in round five of the competition.

Here is the complete FA Cup fifth round draw!

Blackburn or Wrexham vs Newcastle

Chelsea or Aston Villa vs Leeds or Plymouth

Bournemouth vs Leicester

Liverpool or Norwich vs Watford or Southampton

Bristol City or Nottingham Forest vs Newport or Manchester United

Wolves vs Brighton

Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry vs Maidstone

Luton vs Manchester City

This will be the second of three expected meetings between Manchester City and the Hatters this season, having first met at Kenilworth Road in early December in a thrilling affair between the two sides.

It was the hosts who took the lead towards the end of the first-half as Manchester City fought back to claim all three points in the Premier League meeting, courtesy of an equalising strike from Bernardo Silva and a winner from Jack Grealish.

The 2023/2024 FA Cup fifth round ties will be played during the week commencing February 26.
