Confirmed Line-Ups: Tottenham vs Manchester City (Premier League)
Ange Postecoglou and Pep Guardiola have both confirmed their respective starting teams for Tuesday’s pivotal Premier League clash.
Manchester City are looking to move two points clear of Arsenal and take a major step towards a fourth successive Premier League title in midweek, as they go in search of a first win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the division.
Pep Guardiola’s side, who haven’t beaten Spurs away in the Premier League since October 2018, are unbeaten in all competitions since December and require two wins from their final two games to win a fourth consecutive league title.
The Sky Blues were victorious in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round at Tottenham in January however, as Nathan Ake’s late goal secured a maiden victory for Manchester City at the north London ground.
Manchester City require another win to remain in control of their own destiny, although Tottenham themselves also need three points to help with their pursuit of securing Champions League football next season.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have won just one of their last five matches however, suffering defeats to Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, but could be hoping to secure a more positive end to the season, despite the impact a win over City could have on their bitter rivals Arsenal.
