Manchester City will discover their opponents for the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup this weekend, as plans for the next stage of the competition have been confirmed.

Pep Guardiola’s side travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday evening, looking to continue the defence of their FA Cup crown against Spurs in north London.

Manchester City were winless and goalless in five previous visits to Spurs’ new stadium, but finally secured a victory in north London after a late Nathan Ake goal.

The Sky Blues thumped Huddersfield in the third round earlier this month to setup a fourth clash against Ange Postecoglou’s side; with Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb all on the scoresheet.

City, who are three points ahead of Tottenham in the Premier League title race, are now unbeaten in 10 successive matches after a crucial victory against Spurs.
