Manchester City have announced their 23-man travelling squad to face Inter in the 2023 UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul on Saturday night.

The Premier League champions will complete their 2022/23 season with a historic opportunity to complete a monumental treble of silverware this season, after claiming a third successive English top-flight crown as well as a second FA Cup under Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City inflicted Cup final heartbreak on their bitter rivals Manchester United last Saturday, after a brace from club captain Ilkay Gundogan recorded a 2-1 win for the Blues under the iconic Wembley Stadium arch.

Simone Inzaghi’s Serie A giants Inter are Manchester City’s final opponents of the ongoing season, and the only team that now stands between themselves and a first ever UEFA Champions League title.

A staggering 4-0 Etihad Stadium victory over reigning Champions Real Madrid in the semi-final second-leg secured City’s place in the Istanbul final last month, as the 5-1 aggregate scoreline put out a statement to this weekend’s opponents that they certainly mean business.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated 2023 UEFA Champions League final at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, Manchester City have now confirmed their travelling squad list that has made the journey on Thursday afternoon.

23-man travelling Manchester City squad vs Inter

Goalkeepers: Ederson, Ortega Moreno, Carson.

Defenders: Lewis, Walker, Dias, Stones, Akanji, Laporte, Gomez, Ake.

Midfielders: Rodri, Phillips, Perrone, Gundogan, De Bruyne.

Forwards: Haaland, Grealish, Alvarez, Bernardo, Mahrez, Foden, Palmer.

Kyle Walker is part of the travelling squad as perhaps some may have expected, despite offering a scare earlier in the week after being absent from Manchester City’s open training session in front of the media at the City Football Academy.

The England international did clarify in subsequent interviews that he merely required additional rest after taking on a lot of minutes over the course of the last few weeks, and that he would be ready for selection on Saturday night.
