| Last Updated:

‘Official’ images of Manchester City’s upcoming 2024/25 home shirt have surfaced in new posts on social media this week, ahead of its formal release this month.

It comes as Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City players look to close out their ongoing campaign in style with a domestic double still on the cards, in what would be a partial repeat of their success from last season.

City know that should they win their remaining four matches across all competitions, they would be crowned Premier League champions for the fourth successive season, as well as back-to-back winners of the FA Cup.

But alongside all of the excitement surrounding the end-of-season run-in, Manchester City fans are also eagerly anticipating the release of their new kits for the forthcoming season, with designers Puma set to unveil their usual bold approach.

The latest leaked images are claimed to be ‘official’ shots of Manchester City’s new home shirt, as exclusively revealed by Opaleak on social media platform X, with supporters noticing the brave ‘0161 graffiti’ embroiled on both the shirt’s cuff and collar.

The usage of 0161 is a reference from Puma towards the Greater Manchester region’s dialling code, in what is the latest release of a brave pursuit of unique designs for Manchester City’s players and supporters.

The home shirt for the ongoing campaign was released as a clear reference towards the anniversary of Manchester City making the move to the Etihad Stadium, with a discrete design inspired by the arena’s entrance walkways surrounding the ground.

It is also understood that Manchester City’s away shirt for the new season will be inspired by the club’s iconic green and black shirt worn during their 1999 play-off final, in which Paul Dickov scored a memorable winning goal to ultimately take the contest to penalties.
