Manchester City meet Arsenal in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday evening at the Etihad Stadium.
The Premier League’s top two teams will do battle for the first time this season on Friday night, as Pep Guardiola faces Mikel Arteta.
After being knocked out of the Carabao Cup, the Emirates FA Cup is the Blues’ only remaining opportunity to win a domestic cup competition this season, with City bidding to win the FA Cup for the first time since 2019.
Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a 3-2 loss in the semi-finals last season, while Arsenal’s only win against the Blues under Arteta came in the 2020 FA Cup semi-final.
City thrashed Chelsea 4-0 to reach the fourth round, winning 4-0 courtesy of goals from Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden.
