Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Arsenal (Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round)
Manchester City continue their pursuit of a first FA Cup trophy since 2019 with a fourth round clash against Premier League leaders Arsenal on Friday night.
City have had a tough run of opponents in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup so far this season, and that trend continues this week, with Arsenal following Chelsea – whom Pep Guardiola’s side cruised past in the third round of the competition earlier this month.
Manchester City will be looking to land a psychological blow on Arsenal, with the two sides still yet to meet in the Premier League this season, having not faced one another since New Year’s Day last year.
Both teams retain hopes of securing three trophies this season, with European glory still on the agenda as the knock-out stages loom, an intense Premier League title race well underway, and of course their clash in the FA Cup tonight.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta have confirmed their respective starting XI’s that they believe will take them one step closer to a Wembley appearance at the end of the season.
