Manchester City forward Jack Grealish is seemingly at the centre of a battle between Puma and Nike over his next boot endorsement contract, a report has detailed.

Since joining the Premier League giants from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021, Jack Grealish has attracted endorsement deals from some of the globe’s biggest brands, recently becoming a brand ambassador for Gucci.

Grealish also has a business relationship with Electronic Arts (EA), while recently took centre stage in Amazon Prime’s promotional content for their coverage of the Premier League across the festive period.

However, perhaps his most important deal is still under wraps and engaged in negotiations between parties, with Jack Grealish yet to decide where his next boot deal will lie.

According to a report from The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, Jack Grealish has been ‘targeted’ by Puma – who are also the kit manufacturers for the Premier League champions – for a record-breaking boot deal for a British player.

However, interest from the German sportswear giants will not come without competition from elsewhere, with The Telegraph quoting a source at Nike who states that they are “still in talks” with Grealish’s representatives over extending their deal.

Since returning from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last month, Jack Grealish’s performances for Manchester City have seen a significant improvement, and the England international has contributed a far greater return in front of goal.

In the Premier League this season, across 14 appearances for Manchester City, Jack Grealish has now managed to score a total of two goals, providing a further three assists – with four of that total coming after the FIFA World Cup.

Grealish will be hoping that his upturn in performances can continue with either Nike or Puma in the coming weeks, as his representatives look to strike an agreement before the end of the ongoing season.
