Confirmed: When Manchester City will face Arsenal in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round
The FA have confirmed that Manchester City’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Arsenal will take place on Friday 27th January 2023.
The Premier League’s current top two sides will meet at the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup fourth round later this month.
Manchester City thrashed Chelsea 4-0 to secure their place in the next round of the competition, as Riyad Mahrez scored twice and Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden both netted.
Meanwhile, Arsenal progressed to the next round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win over Oxford United.
City have won their previous five matches against the Gunners in all competitions, with Arsenal’s only win in the past 13 meetings coming in the FA Cup in 2020.
Mikel Arteta’s side will visit the Etihad Stadium on Friday 27th January, it has been confirmed.
The clash will kick-off at 8pm (UK) time, and will be broadcast live on television.
City versus Arsenal was one of six matches chosen for TV coverage, with the match to be broadcast on ITV1 for viewers in the United Kingdom.
This fourth round tie will come either side of matches against Wolves and Tottenham for the Sky Blues.
