Clubs interested in securing the services of Jude Bellingham this summer will have to break into nine-figures to sign the England international, according to a report.

Manchester City are expected to be in the market for a new central midfielder next summer, especially given the uncertain futures of two of their current midfielders which could lead to one of them leaving the club.

Bernardo Silva has made his desire to seek an exit from the Etihad Stadium very clear in recent seasons, and reaffirmed that desire during an interview with Portuguese media in the last few weeks.

Ilkay Gundogan is also approaching the end of his current Manchester City contract, and with there currently being no sign of extension talks, the club captain’s long-term future remains up in the air as we head into the business end of the campaign.

One name that is sure to be considered as a potential midfield recruit this summer is teenage sensation Jude Bellingham – who has been going from strength to strength since moving from Birmingham to the Bundesliga, and starred for England at the recent FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

However, according to the information of The Sun, admirers of Jude Bellingham will have to pay ‘around £100 million up front’ if they hope to sign the Borussia Dortmund and England star midfielder this summer.

Borussia Dortmund are reported to have told all interested parties that they are ‘prepared to do  business’, if the majority of Bellingham’s £130 million valuation is paid in go.

In addition to a staggering transfer fee, the teenager’s wages are expected to be in the region of £300,000 per week – according to The Sun – perhaps giving the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid the financial advantage.

On the state of play at present, the report states that Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool would all ‘love’ to sign the former Birmingham City man, however La Liga giants Real Madrid are ‘confident’ they can fend off strong competition to sign the 19 year-old.

City did hold an interest in the now Benfica and Argentina star Enzo Fernandez, prior to his move to Portugal from River Plate, with one integral members of the City Football Group claiming that the Premier League champions had the opportunity to sign him for less than he was recently bought for last summer.

However, with Chelsea’s interest in the youngster growing, and their clear intent to spend upwards of £80 million on the player following his World Cup heroics, Manchester City may be forced to look elsewhere – and perhaps in the direction of Jude Bellingham.
