Premier League giants Manchester City will unveil a brand new fourth kit alongside their usual trio of editions for the 2024/25 season, it has been revealed.

The ongoing season saw Manchester City release three bold editions in collaboration with their manufacturers Puma, celebrating the anniversary of the club’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium in particular through the home kit design.

The club’s current away kit was a celebration of Manchester’s industrial heritage, honouring the city’s creative heritage, and featuring gold flame highlights inspired by the brickworks of the Ancoats region of the city.

Arguably the most popular of the alternate editions, the third kit was described by the club upon released as being “powered by lightning-fast style of play and the atmosphere it creates between the fans, players, and staff,” with a bold lightning design emblazoned across the shirt.

However, next season, Manchester City supporters will instead have a choice between four kits when they invest ahead of the season, with news this week revealing that the club will have three alternate designs on offer to supporters.

As per the exclusive information of Footy Headlines this week, Manchester City will add a fourth kit to their range of releases for the 2024/25 season, making it the first time in the club’s history that they will have a fourth edition.

At present, no further details have been revealed about the design or colour schemes being used by Puma’s designers for the fourth kit, however leaked editions may emerge across social media in the coming weeks and months.

It is expected that the fourth kit will be the final of the kit releases to be unveiled to supporters, with the brand new home shirt typically revealed in late May and early June, with the first on-field sightings of kits coming in pre-season.

Manchester City are currently expected to travel to the United States for their pre-season preparations, while a friendly clash against Premier League rivals Chelsea is also being discussed amongst club officials.
