Officials from the Etihad Stadium have began scouting the development and talents of highly-rated Tottenham midfielder Tyrese Hall, according to reports.

The versatile 18-year-old has showcased his talents across a number of positions in the Tottenham youth set-up, operating from a box-to-box midfielder right through to an attacking talent in central positions and as a winger.

One report on the player’s capabilities has stated that Hall is known for an exciting and skilful style of play, whilst also possessing excellent vision for a forward pass, which would almost certainly bode well for the way Manchester City’s youth system tries to play.

As such, it will come as no surprise to see the reigning Premier League champions and their illustrious youth academy now linked with a move for the player in the coming months ahead, whilst he continues to excel in North London.

That is according to the information of Football Transfers journalist Steve Kay, who reports that Manchester City have now dispatched scouts to monitor the development and rising talents of Tottenham’s highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder Tyrese Hall.

It is detailed that scouts from the Etihad Stadium were present at Tottenham’s recent under-21 clash against Aston Villa, with the North London side winning 5-2 and Hall standing out with a two-assist haul for the home side.

Unsurprisingly, Tottenham are understood to be keen on retaining the services of the player and view him as a potential talent for their first-team squad in the not too distant future, while there is an intention to promote him into Ange Postecoglou’s training sessions.

However, Football Transfers does highlight that there are concerns from within Tottenham that the allure of playing under the guidance of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City could prove too enticing for the young talent to resist.

Interest in Hall coincides with Manchester City’s recent highly-publicised pursuit of exciting Argentine talent Claudio Echeverri, who is set to make the switch to Europe at the end of 2024 whilst remaining at River Plate on loan until then.

At present it remains unknown as to where Manchester City will decide to place Echeverri when he switches continent, whilst there is a feeling from Spain that Girona could be his next temporary home to develop his skillset in the European game.
