The UK broadcaster for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup has been revealed, as Manchester City prepare to compete in the competition later this month.

Pep Guardiola’s side will bid to become FIFA Club World Champions for the first in Manchester City’s history this month, with the treble-winners having qualified for the tournament as a result of winning the UEFA Champions League back in June.

Rodri emphatically smashed Manchester City to a maiden Champions League victory in Istanbul against Inter Milan last season; with the famous win also securing the Blues’ place in both the 2023 Club World Cup and the newly-expanded 32-team competition in 2025.

Manchester City travel to Saudi Arabia to compete in the competition later this month, with Real Madrid the current FIFA Club World Cup holders.

The tournament sees the winners of the UEFA Champions League, Oceania Champions League, Asian Champions League, CONCACAF Champions League, African Champions League, Copa Libertadores, and Saudi Arabian National League all compete against one another.

Manchester City will enter the competition at the semi-final stages, playing either Urawa Reds or Club Leon on Tuesday 19th December at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

Guardiola’s side will then either compete in the Club World Cup Final or Third Place play-off, dependent on the result of their semi-final match.

Manchester City’s Premier League clash against Brentford has been postponed as a result of the Club World Cup, but matches against Aston Villa, Luton, Red Star Belgrade and Crystal Palace are all scheduled prior to travelling to the Middle East.

The tournament starts on Tuesday 12th December, and the UK broadcaster of the FIFA Club World Cup has been revealed.

Manchester City fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland will be able to watch the Blues compete in the FIFA Club World Cup on TNT Sports and Discovery+, after an official announcement from the broadcaster.

TNT Sports will broadcast all the FIFA Club World Cup matches live from Saudi Arabia.
