Manchester City’s rising stars shine in opening month with clean sheets, goals, and assists – August Loan Round-Up
As the 2023/24 season finally got underway, a number of Manchester City loanees have started the campaign with their new clubs in fine fashion.
Throughout the duration of the most recent summer transfer window, Manchester City officials finalised a total of 11 loan deals that will see a number of highly-rated youngsters test themselves in senior divisions across Europe.
While a number of agreements were not finalised until late in the window, five players have had chance to register as many as 17 appearances for their respective clubs between them, including Liam Delap and Callum Doyle in the EFL Championship.
With August now wrapped up and teams looking ahead to a busy upcoming schedule through to Christmas after the international break, here is your round-up of the performances of all of Manchester City’s loanees in action across August.

Manchester City’s exciting young striker has been one of Hull City’s stand-out performers during the opening weeks of the season, striking in the club’s Championship opener against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Delap turned provider as Hull City hosted Bristol City in east Yorkshire, offering the assist for Ozan Tufan to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead that would ultimately be cancelled out by Nahki Wells in the second-half.
