Confirmed Line-Ups: Sheffield United vs Manchester City (Premier League)
Manchester City return to Premier League action following a week off against Sheffield United, travelling across the Pennines for a meeting at Bramall Lane.
Pep Guardiola’s side come into the contest off the back of yet another victory this season, overcoming a challenging Newcastle United outfit thanks to a singular Julian Alvarez strike at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.
Manchester City have the opportunity to remain the only team with three wins from three in the Premier League this season following results elsewhere on matchweek three, following on from their victory at Turf Moor against Burnley on the opening weekend.
Pep Guardiola is a major absentee this weekend, and potentially for their next Premier League outing that follows the meeting with Paul Heckingbottom’s side, after the Catalan coach underwent surgery on his back in Barcelona this week.
As such, assistant coach Juanma Lillo will be assuming touchline responsibilities at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon, with guidance and instruction from Guardiola who is understood to be watching proceedings closely from Spain.
Ahead of kick-off at Bramall Lane, Paul Heckingbottom and Juanma Lillo have confirmed their respective Sheffield United and Manchester City starting line-ups!
