Manchester City have confirmed a further two finalised deals over the past 24 hours, concerning one arrival and a big-name departure from the Etihad Stadium.

Thursday brought about official confirmation of the third major incoming for the Premier League champions, with Manchester City finally revealing their replacement for the recently departed Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez was joined by another now-former Manchester City teammate in Saudi Arabia this week too, after Etihad officials came to an agreement with Al Nassr for the transfer of one out-of-favour central defender.

With 68 days of the summer transfer window now completed, here is everything to catch-up on in the world of Manchester City news, rumours, and gossip!

Manchester City have been given encouragement that Wolves will listen to a second offer for Matheus Nunes, but will walk away from a deal if there is no compromise over their valuation of the midfielder. Wolves do not want Nunes to leave but there is an acceptance that a large bid from City would have to be considered, particularly because the player is keen on the move. (Rob Dawson, ESPN)

Manchester City are considering making an official bid for Eberechi Eze. Crystal Palace are expected to tell any club who enquire about Eze’s availability that £70 million is the lowest they would consider selling him for. (Dom Smith, Nizaar Kinsella – Evening Standard)

Departures

Bernardo Silva‘s father, Paulo: “There was a proposal and an intention to buy from Saudi Arabia that started in June. There was also a very strong approximation, with a proposal and will on the part of PSG…” (A Bola)
