Manchester City midfielder set to finalise £15 million exit as Josko Gvardiol deal stalls

It was not the update Manchester City fans were hoping for when it came to Josko Gvardiol on Friday, as another week passed with no significant movement.

The Croatian defender remains the Premier League champions’ number one target, and the belief is that a deal will be struck, eventually. For now however, it appears to be a waiting game for City fans, with a new update suggesting that an agreement could take some time.

As for outgoings, Manchester City are on the verge of finalising another big-money Academy exit, with Shea Charles at the centre of attention this time around. The Northern Ireland international appears set for a switch to Southampton, as fresh details emerged over his fees.
