Artur Dias will referee the first-leg of the Champions League semi-final between Real Madrid and Manchester City, UEFA have announced.

Manchester City continue their treble hunt on Tuesday evening, travelling to the Spanish capital for the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final against current holders Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola’s side collapsed to defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu last season, suffering defeat in the second-leg of the semi-finals against Real Madrid.

City overcame Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals last month and are looking to reach their second Champions League Final, after losing to Chelsea in 2021.

The Blues are unbeaten in the Champions League so far this season and have played German opposition on three occasions.

City did however begin their European campaign in Spain, beating Sevilla 4-0 in September.

Ahead of Tuesday’s semi-final first-leg, UEFA have announced the match officials for the tie.
