Manchester City will take a 3-0 lead into Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg match against Bayern Munich.

Pep Guardiola’s side can book their places in the Champions League semi-finals for a third successive season in midweek, with holders Real Madrid awaiting the winners of Wednesday’s tie at the Allianz Arena.

Goals from Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland have provided City with a three goal advantage after a scintillating first-leg performance at the Etihad Stadium last week.

The Blues are on a 10 game winning streak in all competitions and face crunch matches against Sheffield United in the FA Cup and league leaders Arsenal in the Premier League over the course of the next week.

City have won just once away to Bayern Munich, famously winning 3-2 in Bavaria almost a decade ago courtesy of goals from Aleksandar Kolarov, David Silva and James Milner.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions and drew 1-1 in the Bundesliga at the weekend.
