Confirmed Line-Ups: Luton Town vs Manchester City (FA Cup Fifth Round)

| Last Updated:

Manchester City take on Luton Town in the latest round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup, with a quarter-final place up for grabs.

Nathan Ake’s late winner and Manchester City’s first-ever goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was enough to guarantee their place in the next round of this season’s competition.

Victory over Ange Postecoglou’s side followed on from a convincing third round win as the reigning Premier League champions dismissed of Championship strugglers Huddersfield Town via a 5-0 scoreline at the Etihad Stadium.

City’s so-far successful FA Cup run this season is part of an ambitious Treble defence, as Pep Guardiola’s players go head-to-head with Arsenal and Liverpool for the Premier League title, and FC Copenhagen in the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The FA Cup holders come into Tuesday night’s clash with a squad on the verge of full fitness, with Josko Gvardiol having resumed training this week after his ankle ligament problems over the past fortnight.

The Croatian defender – signed by Manchester City from RB Leipzig last summer – followed Jack Grealish and his return to the team, complimenting the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland in an already star-studded range of options for Pep Guardiola.

As the Catalan looks to mastermind yet another Manchester City victory on the road, here is how both he and his Luton counterpart Rob Edwards line-up their respective sides at Kenilworth Road tonight.
