Simulated Champions League last-16 draw: Manchester City face favourable draw, Real Madrid handed horror tie, Arsenal travel to Portugal
Manchester City have once again qualified for the knock-out stages of Europe’s premier club competition, as they hope to successfully defend their maiden Champions League crown.
Pep Guardiola and his players overcame the challenge of RB Leipzig, BSC Young Boys, and Crvena zvezda in this season’s group stage, winning all six matches and finishing top of their group to claim a more favourable last-16 draw.
It was the first time Manchester City had won all six of their group stage matches, in their most successful opening round of the tournament since first qualifying for the competition in the 2011/12 season.
Full details on the UEFA Champions League last-16 draw, including how to watch the procedure take place live and when proceedings will commence on Monday morning, can be found below.
