Manchester City take on Arsenal on Wednesday night in what is being billed as the biggest game of the ongoing Premier League season.

The Premier League champions come into the contest in the highest of spirits, right off the back of reaching their first final of the campaign courtesy of a 3-0 win and Riyad Mahrez hat-trick against Sheffield United on Saturday evening.

That win now means City will face Manchester United in the final on June 3, with a Champions League semi-final double-header against Real Madrid to come before then, as well as the ongoing Premier League title battle with Arsenal.

It is the Gunners who travel to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night, coming off the back of three consecutive draws in the top-flight, giving Manchester City the opportunity to cut the gap down to just two points should they secure a win.

In the reverse fixture, goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and Erling Haaland secured a much-needed 1-3 win on the road at the Emirates Stadium, reinforcing the message that Manchester City are an immovable force in this title battle.

Manchester City will be without Nathan Ake for the visit of Arsenal tonight, while Mikel Arteta claimed that Granit Xhaka will be a doubt for the contest and adding to the absence of William Saliba – who is ruled out through injury.

Ahead of kick-off in a mouth-watering contest at the Etihad Stadium, here is how both Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta line-up their respective teams!
