Pep Guardiola and Graham Potter have both confirmed their teams for Manchester City’s trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

Manchester City have the opportunity to move within five points of league leaders Arsenal on Thursday evening after the Gunners were held to a goalless draw on Tuesday night.

The Sky Blues dropped points for a second successive home game on Saturday, as Demarai Gray cancelled out Erling Haaland’s first half goal.

City are just one point ahead of Newcastle and Manchester United ahead of Thursday’s clash with a Chelsea side who also dropped points at the weekend.

The West London club have won just one of their last five league games and find themselves in 10th place in the Premier League table.

The Blues, who also meet Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday, won 2-0 in a Carabao Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium prior to the FIFA World Cup.
