Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Luton Town (Premier League)
Manchester City host Luton in the final meeting between the two clubs this season having already met twice at Kenilworth Road in two separate competitions.
City come into yet another must-win Premier League contest with their own injury concerns, with doubts continuing to hang over Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake. Both players missed the dramatic 3-3 draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Kevin De Bruyne has returned to Manchester City training as normal in the last few days after he was a late withdrawal from Pep Guardiola’s squad against Madrid, falling with a bout of illness through suspected food poisoning. That suspicion remains unconfirmed, however.
Phil Foden was substituted late in the outing in the Spanish capital through a knock, although Pep Guardiola and the player himself appeared to be far from concerned about the issue and the Englishman could come into the thinking on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester City currently find themselves third in the Premier League table, but separated from title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool by just a single point following last weekend’s results and the Anfield club’s draw with Manchester United.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, both Pep Guardiola and Rob Edwards have now confirmed their respective Manchester City and Luton Town starting line-ups!
