Manchester City will look to claim their first ever crown in the UEFA Champions League, as they take on Inter in the 2023 final of this year’s competition.

It has been yet another exceptional campaign for Pep Guardiola and his players, after claiming a third successive Premier League title and a second FA Cup under the Catalan coach.

In Europe’s premier club competition, Manchester City have had to battle their way through a challenging route to the final, with match-ups against the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.

It was the Spanish giants who became City’s latest victims in the tournament, as a Bernardo Silva brace accompanied by goals from Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez secured a 4-0 second-leg victory last month.

Many saw the contest as the ultimate revenge from the Premier League champions, who had succumbed to a crushing late victory for Real Madrid just 12 months prior – a result that saw Carlo Ancelotti’s men go on to win the competition ahead of Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola has the luxury of a fully-fit squad for Saturday night’s UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul, despite a midweek fitness scare regarding Kyle Walker.

The England international was withdrawn late on with a suspected muscle problem in the weekend’s 2-1 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final, however credited his absence from training to rest following an intense run-in over the last few weeks.

With the possibility of a historic treble up for grabs for Manchester City, here is how Pep Guardiola and Simone Inzaghi line-up their respective squads.
