Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions for a third successive season in May, however preparations and planning for the 2023/24 campaign are well underway.

Pep Guardiola’s side will bid to win the Premier League for a fourth successive year next season, after Manchester City were crowned champions for a third consecutive year after overcoming Arsenal in the title race.

Thumping victories at the Emirates in February and the Etihad Stadium in April proved key to the Blues’ latest title triumph, as they won the Premier League title by five points.

Despite a difficult start to the season, a 12-game winning streak proved key to Manchester City’s success, capitalising on a faltering Arsenal during the crucial final weeks of the campaign.

Former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany emphatically lead Burnley back to the top-flight, with Sheffield United and Luton Town also achieving promotion to the Premier League.

The 2023/24 campaign won’t be paused for a Winter World Cup, although the European Championships will take place next summer, in 2024.
