Paris Saint-Germain have made an audacious early offer for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, according to reports.

The 28 year-old, who became a five-time Premier League winner last weekend, has been linked with both PSG and Barcelona amid continued speculation surrounding his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium.

The Spain and French heavyweights both attempted to sign the Portuguese midfielder last year, and the latter look set to renew their interest in the City star this summer.

Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City from AS Monaco in 2017 and crucially scored two goals against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg last week.

The midfielder netted twice in the first half to help Pep Guardiola’s side reach the 2023 Champions League Final in Istanbul, where the Blues are due to face Inter Milan on Saturday 10th June.

The showpiece clash in the Turkey could however be the 28 year-olds final performance for City, as reports suggest that PSG have already made an offer to the Premier League champions for the Portugal international.

According to Matteo Moretto, PSG have made an offer to sign the midfielder, although both the player and Manchester City are waiting until the end of the season before making a decision.

Bernardo Silva is reportedly yet to “ok” the transfer, with the player focussed on the Champions League Final.

As well as next months European final, Manchester City face local rivals Manchester United at Wembley Stadium in the Emirates FA Cup Final on Saturday 3rd June.

The Sky Blues are currently bidding to become the first English side to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season since Man United in 1999.

City would have the opportunity to complete the treble, should they win their first FA Cup since 2019.

Manchester City have been linked with several midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window, with the future of club captain Ilkay Gundogan also still uncertain.

City are poised to make a potential move for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, as well as links with Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister and Borussia Dortmund teenager Jude Bellingham.
