Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has shown off a new look for the Champions League semi-final first-leg clash with Real Madrid.

City travel to the Santiago Bernabeu hoping to take a positive result back to the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League semi-final second-leg next week, with a place in an Istanbul final up for grabs.

The prized possession in European football is the only trophy that Manchester City have not yet won under Pep Guardiola, or during the Abu Dhabi era, although many feel that this season may represent one of their best opportunities to secure the crown.

One player who is likely to play a significant role in any success over two legs against Real Madrid is the vastly improved Jack Grealish – a player whom Pep Guardiola has relied on significantly following the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ahead of kick-off at the Santiago Bernabeu, the England international has revealed a brand new haircut for the showdown in the Spanish capital.

Jack Grealish appears to have undertaken a more smart looking trim to his usually iconic headband-restrained cut, but whether it brings him any more success in the business phase of the campaign remains to be seen.

Following the contest in Madrid, Manchester City make the journey to Merseyside on Sunday afternoon – a contest that will come in the Premier League after five days rest for Pep Guardiola and his players.

The meeting with Sean Dyche’s side could ensure City remain top of the table and move four points clear of Arsenal ahead of Mikel Arteta and his players’ meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium.
