Simon Hooper will take charge of Manchester City’s visit to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, the Premier League have announced.

Manchester City have the chance to move to the top of the Premier League table this weekend, when they travel to West London to face Fulham, who have won just two of their last eight matches in all competitions.

Fulham haven’t beaten City since 2009 and fell to a late loss at the Etihad Stadium in November, losing 2-1 after Erling Haaland’s 90th minute penalty.

Pep Guardiola’s side took a major step towards retaining the Premier League title on Wednesday evening, battering league leaders Arsenal 4-1, to move within two points of the Gunners having played two games less.

The Blues can further assert their momentum this weekend, as victory at Craven Cottage would move City to the top of the league ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea on Tuesday evening.

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice in midweek, while John Stones and Erling Haaland were also both on the scoresheet, with the latter netting a record-breaking 33rd Premier League goal of the campaign.

Ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Fulham at Craven Cottage, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for the fixture.
