The Premier League have announced new dates for Manchester City’s matches against West Ham and Leeds United.

Pep Guardiola’s meeting with David Moyes’ Hammers was meant to be played prior to the current international break on FA Cup quarter-final weekend, but that match was postponed due to City’s tie against Burnley.

City thrashed Vincent Kompany’s Burnley 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium to set up a semi-final against Sheffield United at Wembley Stadium, with the game due to be played on Saturday 22nd or Sunday 23rd April.

Manchester City and West Ham’s involvement in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa Conference League complicated plans to reschedule the fixture, with quarter-final and semi-finals due to played in April and May.

As a result, the Premier League have announced that the fixture has been rescheduled for Wednesday 3rd May, taking place at the Etihad Stadium and kicking off at 8pm (UK).

That fixture will come between Premier League matches against Fulham at Craven Cottage and Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium, with the clash against Leeds also getting a new date.

City’s match against Leeds will now take place at 2pm (UK) on Sunday 7th May but is subject to change depending on the Blues’ participation in the Champions League semi-finals.

The movement of that fixture comes after the EFL announced significant changes to their schedule due to the the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th May.

Manchester City’s trip to the AMEX to face Brighton is however yet to be rescheduled.

The Blues were due to travel to the south coast to face Roberto De Zerbi’s side next month, however that match has been postponed as a result of both sides playing in the FA Cup that weekend – the Seagulls face Manchester United in the other semi-final.

Should City overcome Bayern Munich and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, then that match is expected to be played during the week commencing Monday 22nd May, coming between games against Chelsea at home and Brentford away.

Brighton also have a fixture on Tuesday 4th April against Bournemouth, and there is a set of midweek fixtures already scheduled for April, during which City host Arsenal in a potentially title defining clash.
