Manchester City could move to the top of the Premier League table with a win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Premier League champions would move above the Gunners with victory in North London as Pep Guardiola looks extend the Blues’ formidable recent winning record against Arsenal.

City have won 13 of the past 14 matches between the two teams, most recently knocking Arsenal out of the Emirates FA Cup with a 1-0 win at the Etihad Stadium last month.

The Blues beat Aston Villa 3-1 on Sunday afternoon while Arsenal were held to a controversial 1-1 draw against Brentford on Saturday at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta is without midfielder Thomas Partey due to a muscular injury according to David Ornstein, a significant blow for the Gunners.

City welcomed Phil Foden back to the pitch on Sunday as the Englishman featured from the bench against Villa.
