Confirmed Match Officials: Manchester City vs Aston Villa (Premier League)

Robert Jones will take charge of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday, it has been announced.
After a dramatic week away from the field, attention returns to Manchester City on the pitch, as the Blues look to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing loss against Tottenham in North London.
City failed to move within two points of league leaders Arsenal, as Harry Kane capitalised on an early mistake to extends Spurs’ formidable record at home to the Sky Blues.
Aston Villa are the visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with the Midlands club visiting East Manchester for the first time since City’s incredible comeback victory to win the Premier League title May.
Ahead of Sunday’s clash, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for the fixture.
Match Referee
Robert Jones will take charge of Sunday’s match between Manchester City and Aston Villa.
The referee has officiated 18 matches so far this season, showing 68 yellow cards and no red cards.
Jones last took charge of City in January, when the Blues beat Chelsea 4-0 in the Emirates FA Cup third round.
Assistant Referees
Jones will be accompanied at the Etihad Stadium by Assistant Referees Lee Betts and Ian Hussin.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings from Stockley Park will be Video Assistant Referee Jarred Gillett and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Eddie Smart.
Fourth Official
Chris Kavanagh has been appointed as the Fourth Official for the clash.
The referee will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Pep Guardiola and Unai Emery.
