Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Arsenal (Premier League)
Manchester City host Arsenal in a mammoth Premier League title battle at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with both clubs eyeing nothing but victory.
Pep Guardiola will be looking to get a crucial run of fixtures off to the perfect start following the final international break of the campaign, as a meeting with Mikel Arteta presents the first of successive challenging outings in a matter of days.
City continue to fight on three fronts this season as their Premier League title battle with Arsenal and Liverpool is accompanied by an FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea and a UEFA Champions League quarter-final double-header against Real Madrid in April.
That challenge, starting with the visit of the Gunners this weekend, has been made that extra bit more difficult following injuries to both Kyle Walker and John Stones while on international duty with England.
Both defenders have been ruled out for this weekend’s contest, while Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Manuel Akanji, and Matheus Nunes all appear to have shaken off their respective problems over the course of the last few days.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, here is how both Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta line-up their respective Manchester City and Arsenal sides.
Manchester City
Starting XI: Ortega; Akanji, Dias, Ake, Gvardiol; Rodri, Kovacic, De Bruyne (C); Bernardo, Haaland, Foden.
