Every Manchester City player selected for the FIFA World Cup

A handful of Manchester City players will shortly be competing in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup.
The tournament, which is controversially taking place in the Winter, begins on Sunday 20th November, when hosts Qatar face Ecuador in the opening fixture.
Manchester City’s league campaign will resume on Wednesday 28th November, when the Premier League Champions travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
The Blues will be hoping to bounce back into form when they do return to action, with top six meetings with Chelsea and Manchester United in the New Year.
City are set to be well represented in the Middle East, with some players even set to potentially come up against one another.
Not all members of Pep Guardiola’s squad will be going to the Middle East, with star striker Erling Haaland one player who is set to get a period of rest.
According to the City manager, members of his side who aren’t featuring in Qatar will be given a period of leave, before returning for training ahead of the restart to the season.
