Manchester City will look to take an advantage into the quarter-final second-leg with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night as the two sides go head-to-head.

Pep Guardiola’s side cruised into the last-eight of Europe’s premier club competition courtesy of a dominant victory over yet another Bundesliga side in the last-16 last month, with Erling Haaland once again starring in the contest.

After a 1-1 draw in the first-leg against RB Leipzig in Germany, Manchester City took full control at the Etihad Stadium, with Haaland’s five-goal individual haul contributing to a 7-0 win on the night and an 8-1 aggregate scoreline.

Manchester City now take on the side that currently employ two of their former superstars, with Joao Cancelo joining Leroy Sane at the Bavaria club last January, after signing on an initial six-month loan deal with the potential for a permanent move this summer.

The prize for the side that comes out on top across the two-legs is a semi-final clash against either Real Madrid or Chelsea, as those two European heavyweights go head-to-head in their own last-eight contest across the next two weeks.

Ahead of the much-anticipated kick-off at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night, both Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel have confirmed their respective starting line-ups!
