Manchester City and Chelsea discover potential FA Cup fourth round opponents following completed draw
Manchester City and Chelsea have now found out who awaits them in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup, following the completed draw ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium.
The two Premier League giants go head-to-head in the third round of the competition on Sunday afternoon, just days after they clashed in a Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.
The FA Cup presents a fantastic chance of silverware for both clubs following the third round, especially as one of the tournament’s favourites is now guaranteed to exit the competition at the earliest stage.
These two sides have already met once outside of the Premier League this season, following a Carabao Cup third round clash at the Etihad Stadium back in October – a game that saw Manchester City progress via goals from Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium – which is scheduled for 16:30 (UK) – Manchester City and Chelsea now know that they will face Oxford United or Arsenal at home in the fourth round of the tournament.
