Manchester City are looking to progress to the FA Cup Final and bounce back from Wednesday’s disappointing exit from the UEFA Champions League, after exiting the European competition on penalties, following shoot-out misses from both Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic.
The Sky Blues and Real Madrid were tied at 4-4 on aggregate after extra-time at the Etihad Stadium in midweek, as Manchester City suffered their earliest Champions League exit since 2020.
Manchester City drew twice with Real Madrid, and Guardiola’s side have also drawn both games against Chelsea so far this season in the Premier League, ahead of Saturday’s clash in north London.
City, who are bidding to retain the FA Cup trophy, drew 1-1 with Pochettino’s side at the Etihad Stadium in February and 4-4 at Stamford Bridge in November.
Chelsea knocked Manchester City out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stages in 2021, but the Cityzens are unbeaten in their past eight matches against the west London club.
