Manchester City travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon to take on Crystal Palace in the early kick-off in the latest round of Premier League fixtures.

It is the second clash in a huge month for the all-conquering Manchester City squad, who continue in their hot-pursuit of all three remaining competitions during the business end of the season.

The meeting with Crystal Palace is their second match in a week, and their final outing before heading to the Spanish capital of Madrid to face Jude Bellingham and co in the quarter-final first-leg of the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City bounced back from a drab 0-0 draw against Arsenal last weekend by convincingly dismissing of Aston Villa in midweek, largely thanks to a Phil Foden hat-trick as part of a 4-1 victory over Unai Emery’s men.

City thankfully have no fresh injury concerns to be worried about heading into a crunch run of games, and will be hoping that Ederson has made significant progress to line himself up for a return in the imminent contests.

Kyle Walker continues to face a race against time to make it for the clash against Real Madrid in midweek, while Nathan Ake’s injury severity remains somewhat unknown after his problem suffered in the first-half against Mikel Arteta’s side.

Ahead of the official release of team news from Selhurst Park, sources on social media have began offering insights into the selection of Pep Guardiola, with the first details provided by The FPL Newsletter.

According to the information of The FPL Newsletter on X, Phil Foden does not start for Manchester City against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with the Englishman reportedly dropped following Wednesday’s hat-trick.

Kevin De Bruyne returns to the City starting side at Selhurst Park, meanwhile John Stones and Jack Grealish also start for Guardiola’s side against the Eagles, according to the information of FPL Toni on X.

Erling Haaland, Josko Gvardiol and Julian Alvarez are all also starters for Manchester City, reports FPL Toni on X.

Joe Bray reports that Ederson and Mahamadou Susoho are both with the matchday squad at Selhurst Park.

Oliver Glasner and Pep Guardiola are expected to release their official and respective Crystal Palace and Manchester City starting line-ups from 11:30 (UK) on Saturday morning.

Now confirmed.
