Manchester City’s latest home kit release has been revealed early on the official Chinese Puma store, reports across social media have revealed.

It is the latest in a string of bold designs from Manchester City’s long-standing kit manufacturers, who have certainly not been afraid to break away from the traditional styles of football shirts over the last few seasons.

Puma have released numerous eye-catching styles for Manchester City supporters to purchase, and for Pep Guardiola’s squad to create more history in, with last season’s home shirt featuring a centralised badge going down in history as the Treble-winning shirt.

Now it appears as though Puma are bringing things closer to home as they release a new Manchester City shirt with a clear but bold reference to the Greater Manchester region, and one that all locals will be familiar with.

As per a report from football merchandise insiders and experts Footy Headlines, Manchester City’s brand new 2024/25 home shirt has been released early by the official online Chinese Puma store, first spotted by X user ‘gentle_wong’.

As seen by images released early by Puma, the new Manchester City home shirt will feature the club’s traditional sky blue colour, combined with elements of navy alongside white club and Puma logos.

Supporters will also notice the bold choice from shirt designers, as the collar and sleeve cuffs of the new shirt feature a unique ‘graffiti-inspired 0161 graphic’ in reference to the region’s dialling code.

It is further understood that Manchester City’s new 2024/25 home shirt is expected to be launched in May 2024, with X user ‘gentle_wong’ pointing out that a release date has been set for May 2 on the official online Chinese Puma store.

Manchester City still have several hugely important fixtures to finalise this season before attentions can turn to the forthcoming campaign, with a Premier League run-in and FA Cup final against Manchester United still on the horizon.

City fans in the United States will also be hoping that the brand new 2024/25 home shirt will feature some exciting new summer signings, when Pep Guardiola and his players travel across the Atlantic for their pre-season tour this summer.
