Jose Maria Sanchez will take charge of the UEFA Champions League last-16 first-leg tie between FC Copenhagen and Manchester City.
Manchester City resume their UEFA Champions League title defence on Tuesday evening, travelling to the Parken Stadium to face FC Copenhagen in the first-leg of the last-16.
Pep Guardiola’s side are currently unbeaten in Europe this season, having won all six group stages matches, scoring 18 goals and securing top spot in Group G ahead of RB Leipzig.
City are also currently on a 13-match unbeaten streak and 10-game winning streak, after extending their current impressive run with a late 2-0 win over Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, courtesy of a clinical Erling Haaland brace.
FC Copenhagen have played just five matches since qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League in December, with the Danish side having reached the last-16 ahead of Manchester United.
Manchester City met Copenhagen in the group stages last season, winning 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium but drawing 0-0 in the return fixture in the Danish capital.
Ahead of Tuesday’s last-16 first-leg clash, UEFA have announced the Match Officials for the fixture between FC Copenhagen and Manchester City.
Match Referee
Jose Maria Sanchez has been named as the referee for the last-16 first-leg clash at the Parken Stadium between FC Copenhagen and Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The Spanish referee has officiated 22 matches so far this season across all competitions, showing 130 yellow cards and three red cards.
The referee has never previously refereed Manchester City, but has acted a Video Assistant Referee and Fourth Official for previous fixtures involving the Sky Blues.
Assistant Referees
Sanchez will be accompanied at the Parken Stadium by Assistant Referees Raul Cabanero and Inigo Prieto.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings will be Video Assistant Referee Juan Martínez Munuera and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Guillermo Cuadra.
Fourth Official
Cesar Soto Grado has been named as the Fourth Official.
The referee will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Jacob Neestrup and Pep Guardiola.
