Manchester City make the trip to West London on Monday night as they hope to retain their fine Premier League form of recent weeks with another victory.

Pep Guardiola and his players come into Monday night’s contest off the back of a straight-forward win over Burnley last Wednesday, courtesy of a first-half Julian Alvarez brace and a Rodri strike just 26 seconds into the secon-half.

After Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, Manchester City have the opportunity to cut the gap between themselves and Jurgen Klopp’s side to just two points, with a game in hand on all the teams around them.

That game in hand comes against Thomas Frank’s Brentford after the originally scheduled meeting at the Etihad Stadium was scheduled during Manchester City’s successful FIFA Club World Cup campaign in December.

City once again have a fully-fit squad at their disposal, with Manuel Akanji making progress in his road towards matchday squad availability, and Erling Haaland expected to take on more match minutes after his return to action last week.

Ahead of the confirmed line-ups from the Brentford Community Stadium on Monday night, sources on social media have began releasing information around Pep Guardiola’s selection, with the first details offered by FPLMaineRoad on X.

Erling Haaland, following on from his first appearance post-injury against Burnley last week, starts for Manchester City at the Brentford Community Stadium on Monday night, according to the information of FPLMaineRoad.

The full line-up was then later confirmed by X user MCFCTone, who stated that Pep Guardiola has opted for a combination of Ederson, Walker, Dias, Ake Gvardiol, Rodri, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Foden, Alvarez, Haaland.

Thomas Frank and Pep Guardiola are expected to confirm their respective starting line-ups from 19:00 (UK) on Monday night.
