English and Spanish clubs eye €30 million move for City Football Group star
City Football Group star Savio is subject to transfer interest from clubs in England and Spain following an impressive loan spell with La Liga high-flyers Girona.
Girona, who are one of 13 clubs owned by the City Football Group (CFG), have the opportunity to return to the top of La Liga on Monday evening, when the Catalonian side host Alaves at the Estadi Montilivi.
The Spanish club have emerged as surprise La Liga title contenders, opening up a six point gap between themselves and third placed Barcelona, and with the chance to extend that lead to nine points on Monday.
Former Spanish footballer and current Girona manager Míchel has a number of talented young players within his squad, with several subject to transfer interest after an impressive start to the campaign.
Brazilian forward Savio is one of the Girona player’s being linked with a potential permanent transfer, with the 19-year-old currently on loan at the La Liga club from fellow City Football Group side Troyes.
The teenager, who has been directly involved in nine La Liga goals in 16 appearances, has previously revealed a willingness to play for Manchester City in the future.
However, the Sky Blues aren’t amongst the English sides to currently be interested in a move for the forward, with Sport Witness reporting that clubs in England and Spain have expressed an interest in signing the teenager.
Savio is reportedly valued at €30 million by the City Football Group, and the CFG believe that the player’s price tag will continue rise.
A January exit has already been ruled out despite anticipated transfer interest, with the 19-year-old wanting to remain at Girona for the remainder of the campaign.
