Photos: Jack Grealish books out entire Nando’s restaurant for Christmas party
Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish booked out an entire Nando’s restaurant to celebrate Christmas with a group of his close friends, it has been revealed.
The 28-year-old put his free time to good use as Manchester City’s players were issued with a day off from action after a 1-2 win over Luton Town earlier this week, and prior to their preparations for a UEFA Champions League meeting with Crvena zvezda.
Returning to his home region in the Birmingham area to catch-up with friends, it has been revealed that the City forward opted for a more relaxed setting to treat his inner circle, teaming up with UK-favourite Nando’s.
As detailed by Goal, Jack Grealish booked out an entire Nando’s restaurant for a Christmas party in Shirley, near Birmingham, to dine with friends including former Aston Villa teammate John McGinn.
The Manchester City and England star showcased glimpses of the exclusive gathering on his social media this week, with the restaurant putting on special Jack Grealish-themed sauces and customised menus for guests.
Goal also reveal that both Manchester City’s Grealish and Aston Villa’s McGinn signed autographs and posed for photos as they left the restaurant for those lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the pair on Monday evening.
Jack Grealish is set to return to action for Pep Guardiola’s side this weekend as they welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium, in what will be their final Premier League match before heading to Saudi Arabia for the FIFA Club World Cup.
City are expected to travel to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on Sunday with their semi-final clash against Urawa Red Diamonds pencilled in for Tuesday, as Pep Guardiola’s side look to name the club as World Champions for the very first time.
