Aliyar Aghayev will take charge of Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League clash with Crvena zvezda on Wednesday evening.

Manchester City will conclude their latest UEFA Champions League Group Stage campaign on Wednesday evening, with Pep Guardiola’s side having already secured qualification and top spot in Group G.

The Sky Blues have won all five matches so far, including a recent 3-2 comeback win over RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium.

Second-half goals from Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez secured three points, with Manchester City bouncing back from two goals down with a stunning second-half comeback.

The RB Leipzig victory is one of just two recent wins for the Sky Blues, who returned to winning ways domestically on Sunday, beating Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road.

Manchester City have two matches remaining before travelling to the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia, with a trip to Belgrade in midweek followed by a Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace.

Ahead of Wednesday’s fixture, UEFA have announced the Match Officials for the Champions League clash between Crvena zvezda and Manchester City.

Match Referee

Aliyar Aghayev has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s meeting with Crvena zvezda in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The referee has officiated four matches so far this season across all competitions, showing 12 yellow cards and no red cards.

Assistant Referees

Aghayev will be accompanied at the Stadion Rajko Mitić by Assistant Referees Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali.

Video Assistant Referees

Overviewing proceedings will be Video Assistant Referee Alper Ulusoy and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Abdulkadir Bitigen.

Fourth Official

Elchin Masiyev has been named as the Fourth Official.

The referee will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Barak Bakhar and Pep Guardiola.
