Manchester City have put together their final preparations before Wednesday evening’s UEFA Champions League clash with Crvena zvezda in Belgrade, Serbia.

Pep Guardiola’s side have already secured both qualification for the last-16 of the competition and top spot in their group through results against BSC Young Boys and RB Leipzig, and five wins from five in this season’s edition of the tournament.

Successive 3-1 victories in the opening three matches and a 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys on matchday four was followed up by a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against RB Leipzig on matchday five having fallen 0-2 behind in the contest.

Erling Haaland sparked the comeback at the end of last month before goals from Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez ensured that there would be no late drama for top spot heading into matchday six for Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side come into Wednesday evening’s match fresh off the back of ending their winless streak in the Premier League, having defeated Luton Town on Sunday afternoon 1-2 at Kenilworth Road with goals from Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish.
