Morten Krogh to referee UEFA Champions League clash between Young Boys and Manchester City

Morten Krogh will take charge of Manchester City’s visit to Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, it has been announced.
Manchester City could take a significant step towards qualification for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League in midweek, as Pep Guardiola’s side look for their third successive Group G victory.
The current holders beat RB Leipzig to move three points clear at the top of their Champions League group prior to the international break, courtesy of late goals from Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku at the Red Bull Arena.
Alvarez and Doku also helped Manchester City to victory in the Premier League on Saturday, as the Sky Blues bounced back from consecutive losses with a 2-1 win over Brighton at the Etihad Stadium.
Young Boys are winless in Group G and have never previously faced the treble-winners, ahead of the midweek meeting in Bern.
Manchester City have travelled to the Swiss club early to familiarise themselves with the artificial pitch – a surface Manchester United players have criticised in the past.
Ahead of Wednesday’s clash, UEFA have announced the Match Officials for Manchester City’s trip to Young Boys in matchday three of the Champions League.
