Newcastle United or Manchester City will discover their opponents for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup later this week, as the third round of the competition takes place.
Manchester City and Newcastle United are amongst the sides to enter the competition at the third round stage, as Premier League teams competing in Europe start to also compete in the Carabao Cup.
Eddie Howe’s side reached the final at Wembley Stadium last season, meanwhile Manchester City, who have won the competition on four occasions under Pep Guardiola, were dramatically dumped out of the League Cup at the quarter-final stages.
