Confirmed Line-Ups: Arsenal vs Manchester City (FA Community Shield)

Manchester City begin the competitive element of the 2023/24 season with the FA Community Shield – the traditional curtain raiser to the new season.
Pep Guardiola and his players come into the contest as Premier League and FA Cup winners, with their double domestic triumph complimented by a Champions League win in Istanbul against Inter.
Arsenal were awarded a place in Sunday’s contest after Manchester City won both of England’s top two trophies last season, and Mikel Arteta’s side finished runners-up in the Premier League title race.
Josko Gvardiol is part of the Manchester City squad that has travelled to Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon, however the Croatian will play no part in the contest and could instead make his debut for the club in the Premier League opener against Burnley on Friday night.
Arsenal will be without Gabriel Jesus on Sunday afternoon, after the Brazilian international sustained a knee problem that is likely to rule him out for the start of the domestic season as a whole too.
Ahead of kick-off in the 16:00 start at Wembley Stadium, here is how both Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola line-up their respective Arsenal and Manchester City line-ups.
